here is more to the story. ok i am 18 years old and i live with my parents and i went to go spend the . night at my friends house (guy). i told my parents that were i was at and everything and they got all pissed and told me to go home and pack my stuff. i had said ok. so i went home and started packing nd i was calling my friend who i was staying the night with and told him to ask his mom if it was ok if i can move in. his mom had said yeah and i was still packing and my mom and dad goes oh well were going to call the cops if you go over there and i go will i am 18 so y cant i move there and they go well there not gonna help you out if u do and if u do go there then imma take your car away. my mom also said that if i do go there she was gonna call the cops and tell them that my car was stolen by my friend and that he hit here even though he didnt do anything to her.so my question is can your parent take away my car? and can my mom be arrested for saying this?

i also wanna kno if my mom can get in trouble if she says that my friend took the car and she called it in as stolen even though i am at the same house as he is?
