Can I use my phone in America if I have a T-Mobile contract?
I have a phone with a contract on T-Mobile where I get unlimited texts, 100 minutes of phone calls and internet. I am going away to America for a couple of weeks and what I'm wondering is, if I take my phone with me and send a text, will I get charged for it in addition to what I would pay monthly?
Is what I might use in America counted into my allowance, or will I have to pay extra if I send a text from over there?

If I were you I would call customer service and get your answer there. While Yahoo Answers is great, when it comes to your wallet, best to get those sort of answer DIRECT from the horses mouth so to speak.
The plan you have may be fine from some roaming in Europe, but International roaming can be VERY expensive, and T-Mobile in the US and T-Mobile in Germany/Europe are really two different companies (same parent company for now), but roaming is roaming and if your plan does not include INTERNATIONAL roaming you will be stuck at the end of your trip with a HUGH bill.
