I live in Ohio and have an 18 year daughter, her mother has never requested the courts to order child support from me for 18 year of my daughter life. I have always been in my child life and supported her through out. Now,She (my daughter) told me she going to college and want me to pay her child support. My question is can she do this by ohio law?

Not for college.

However, Ohio law does clarify anything given the mother and/or child, without a court order as a gift, and allows for the filing of 18 years of retroactive child support. She can file this any time before turning age 23.
By law an 18 year old is an adult and there is "no" legal obligation to support a child. However, if the child is enrolled in college and is applying for grants or loans, some universities might require the parents of the child contribute to the child's college expenses. But, if the parents are unable, the child can still get grants if she declares that she is emancipated.
No,you don't have to pay your daughter child support. She is an adult and is responsible to support herself. If her mother never requested child support when she was a minor, they can't come back and ask for it now.
relies upon on your state. a pal of mine went with the help of this and the traditional is 21 in the experience that they are in college. IF the youngster mansipates (spelling?) then the help would quit. call an lawyer.
