how do i buy things off ebay?
so i have a paypal account set up but it says its balance is £0.00. when i try to go through the process of paying via ebay, but it cant process my payment.
do i need to take money from my bank account, put it into paypal, then buy using ebay?
if so how do i get money to my paypal account?
Update:an i think it is linked to my bank account. and yes i do have money in my bank account

When you signed up for paypal did you add your bank account? If not you need to do this, and to make things easier you can add a debit or credit card to use for a backup payment option.
You can add a debit/credit card to your paypal account if you haven't already done so, you can find this under the profile section of paypal and click on add new credit card. You can also transfer cash from your bank account to your paypal ballance, this takes a little longer.
You are best of using your bank card that is linked with your current bank account, that way it just goes through as a card payment as if you had entered the details of the card in yourself.
