ok ive seen comercials for that movie called "Corline". its about some girl that finds a secret world in her house or something like that. i like the name corline instead of caroline because it sounds like caroline but its not exactally the same. i mean if i had a kid named corline would you immeadiately think of that movie? grr.. im so comfussed. it might seem like im just venting through the computer but im really not. teehee. ok, so my real question here is; if there was a girl named corline (not caroline) would you think of the movie, of would you think that it was just a unique name that someone was creative enough to think of? wow. that sounds confusing. ok forget all that stuff. just, Do you like the name Corline for a baby, or does it sound to much like the movie title?

No that's not weird I took a lot my my baby names from books (Shakespear also) even cartoons.
It's Coraline not Corline. If I head that name than I would definitely think of the movie. Well not really I'd think of the book that the movie is based on because I've read the book. It still does sound unique though. But just like the character in the book your daughter would be constantly correcting people of her name. I do like Coraline much much better than Caroline. So if it's between those two I'd definitely go with Coraline.
I like Coraline. I think it's a nice alternative. However, I think Caroline is a beautiful name.
No, I wouldn't think about the movie, I would think it was a pretty and unique name. I like the name you've picked out. I wouldn't worry about what other people think.
By the way, I named my daughter after Julia Roberts character in steel magnolias.
Coraline is a nice name, but I would automatically think of the book/movie. It's taught at A LOT of schools.
It sounds a little like you are kind of all about the movie...
How about as a middle name instead if it means that much to you?
Like....
Amber Coraline?
Nicknames: Coral, Cory, Ali, Ora, and Cora.
yes it is Coraline. It's not bad and maybe once the movie is out of theaters people won't think of it that much anymore. You could call her Cora for short.
It's not Corline, it's Coraline.
I would think you're naming the baby after the movie, but i do think it's a nice name.
It's Coraline, not Corline.
But if you name your child Corline, it won't be anything like the movie because it's called Coraline. Good luck (:
