1-1/x-1+2/1-x^2
Can you show your work please?
Thanks :)
One way would be to rewrite the last one as - 2 / x^2 - 1
which is -2 / (x + 1)(x - 1)
then get all three parts to have that denominator
(x + 1)(x - 1) / (x + 1)(x - 1) - 1(x + 1) / (x + 1)(x - 1) - 2 / (x + 1)(x - 1)
then add the tops: (x + 1)(x - 1) - 1(x + 1) - 2
= x^2 - 1 - x - 1 - 2
= x^2 - x - 4
so that over (x + 1)(x - 1)
