Using a eyelash curler before applying the mascara helps, by making the eye lash curl, I find Maybelline great lash (pink bottle with green lid) effective plus it's cheap too.

Victoria's Secret Extra Lengthening Mascara is the best mascara i have EVER tried! I would definitely recommend it, and yes it holds curl fantastically.

i use the avon brand mascara really good,first i apply and let dry than i curl for better results. curl one eye than clean the eyelash curler with a damp cloth than curl your other eye doing this will keep excess mascara from pulling out your lashes.

my favorite is the colossal volum' express by maybelline. yellow tube, like under $5. found at target walmart or drugstores. good luck
