A person takes in a breath of 20C air and
holds it until it warms to 37.4C. The air
has an initial volume of 0.29 L and a mass of
0.00077 kg.
Determine the work done by the air on
the lungs if the pressure remains constant at
1 atm.

It looks like you are solving for the final volume, not the initial?
Use the ideal gas law. PV=nRT
Solve for the temperature vs volume equation. Use Kelvins for the temperature.
V1/T1 = V2/T2 (everything else is held constant)
V1 = 0.29 L
T1 = 20 deg C or 293 K
T2 = 37.4 deg C or 310.4 deg K
Solve for V2 = 0.3072 L
