If not, what will?
Seeing as how I can't get reliable feedback whether popping joints is harmful or not, I thought I might as well just stop popping my joints altogether. Breaking the habit is difficult and so I want a physical (prevention) solution rather than a mental (habit breaking) solution.
Update:Intentional popping.

don't know what you mean by popping...are you actually trying to crack knuckles & such...if so, then stretching is a great tool INSTEAD of trying to pop...but if you are talking about loose joints, like possible dislocations, then strengthening will do the job...
