Will I ever be as tall or taller then my dad?
I am almost 5,11 and my dad is still slightly taller then me but by a very small amount and that is really starting to annoy me!!!!! Is there a possibility that I will ever be as tall or taller then my dad? I am 17 1/2 years old and I'm a senior in high school. I am on my swim team and I work out or do some sort of intense physical activity just about everyday. What do you guys think?

exercise is not going to affect your height, and you may or may not grow taller than your dad.
Anything is possible - but no guarantee's.
YOUR genetics determine YOUR height - nothing else.
You cannot re-program genetics.
You canot MAKE yourself grow taller.
If & when your genetics decide to kick in - growth can occur - & NOT before.
You will not finish puberty until at least age 21 - or later.
More growth could be headed your way - nobody knows for sure.
You must have patience - & wait to see what all develops.
Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is.
