White Girl dating a Muslim guy?
I've known this Muslim guy for 9 months now. At first we was just friends and now it has developed into something more serious to where we have got to the point of dating each other. He's always really attentive and calling and texting me. He talks about future plans where he wants me and him to meet each others friend's, go on holiday together and he asks what my parents are like etc. It's strange as we have only met each other twice as we have been busy and at other times haven't had the chance to meet as much as we should but by talking every single day we have got to know each other very well. We are physically attracted to each other and the emotional and physical connection is very strong. He has mentioned love on 5 occasions and asks me what I think of love and that I make him feel loved up and all the mushy stuff.
Now he has told me he is not sure what he wants as he's getting pressure from his family to have an arranged marriage. His family are not strict muslim as such and he is the only one in his family who smokes and drinks and feels like he is a bit of an outcast due to his past. He told me his family did an introduction to a family for an arranged marriage and he got stressed out at them and told them he wasn't ready. Thing is now I'm confused as we are really close and I have strong feelings for him. I have given him space and let him know I'm there for him but is it really worth pursuing this with him if he is uncertain?

So basically he's come back texting me after he's been away for a few days. No mention of what he said, what he wants. Nothing. Just normal flirty, fun laid back banter. I was gonna give him the oppotunity to say what he has decided or been thinking but nothing! I guess I'll have to probe him and say where do we stand? I'm laid back about dating him and I dont want to rush but if he's gonna mess me about what is the point? We have such a deep connection as well and we know so much about each other! I really like him. But what the hell does he want?! Any ideas?

Any girl who is not a muslim or western cultured are a moron for gettin' into a relationship with a muslim man. They treat you all nice when you first get to know them. But as soon it goes further you loose all your freedom. Because if you get married to this guy. Don't think you won't have to convert to a muslim and do everythin' he says cause that's how it works. You're treated like a slave with no rights what so ever.
Why don't you find a guy who isn't into a religion that treats their women like crap? They're are millions out there... *Sigh*

perosnally myself i would talk to him and see how you get on with him. has he said anything about the future and about your plans together. i would just be a bit careful as he might have an arranged marriage that he may need to do for his family. but until you have that talk with him. i would just go with the flow and see how you end up with him.
