What is the approximate mass of air in this classroom?
• The measurements of the room were 10.7m x 10.5m x 2.49m.
Air is approximately 78% nitrogen gas and 22% oxygen gas
1m cubed = 1000L

1 mole of air weighs 28*.78 + 32*.22 (eqn1)
the number o liters is: 1000 *10.7 *10.5*2.4 (eqn2)
take number of liters of air (eqn2) and divide by 22.4 to get number of moles
then multiply number of moles by answer to eqn 1
You have to find out the volume of the whole room. Then you have to assume that 78% of that volume of the room is nitrogen and 22% is oxygen. Well, we would also need density data to complete this one, i think.
