I'd like to buy my boyfriend (whose acct im on now.. kind of stupid huh) a pair of sound quality headphones, he just started music recording tech school and i always see him eyeing them in all the tech stores.
Im very big on quality and name so please help me out. Id like the most bang for my buck being that they are so expensive, and i'd just like to suprise him with the best pair of headphones he'll ever touch! i want professional/studio type headphones.
ive also seen other brands like boise and s-something, any input as to which are really the best?!

Beats! However, I've heard that Skull Candy makes great headphones as well.
i'm an audiophile sort of individual whilst it is composed of music and sound often and that i've got almost each and every headphone form you could think of of different than BOSE and it extremely comes all the way down to what sort of music he would be interpreting or working with. If it quite is hip hop/rap then Beats by skill of Dre professional each and every of how. The bass is merely extra helpful than the different headphone on the industry. R&B choose for the Souls by skill of Ludacris SL300, they only have a extra helpful standard sound in that classification. in the journey that your music in angled extra in direction of rock, punk or screamo choose for Grado. in particular for the vented diaphragm. The Grado PS500 are great yet once you dont wana wreck the financial business enterprise then the rado SR325is. And If hes not sure then the Sennheiser HD 280 are stable, not impressive in any classification yet they're great all around. wish I helped (:
Beats Solo by Dr. Dre On-Ear Headphones have met all my expectations. The sound is truly amazing and I can clearly hear so much detail in my music. The headphones do a swell job of projecting the background detail enough, but not too much that it drowns out the rest of the music. Also, the bass is slightly amplified so you hear some slight "thump thump" but is definitely not overpowering like "THUMP! THUMP!"
