Well, Sims 3 basically has like no cheats!!!! The skills take forever to learn, so if anyone knew some skill mods/cheats I'd be glad. I'd give 5 stars!!!!!
Well, If you have the Mod Folder all set up, you should DEFINETLY use this. On Mod the Sims.com, there is a perfect skills cheat. Other mods have messed up my game, but this one is great! In the google search bar type in the exact words followed: "Book of Talent TS3." After so, you'll have a result from MTS. Click the link. It should be on the Mod the Sims website. It should be by 'Treeag." It will be a book. It's awesome. Install it using WinRar. Extract it to your game, and it rocks!
Make sure: Look for Mod the Sims, the quentessience of peanut butter in a rainbow box, scroll down- see a picture of a book.
well, its not so much a skill cheat, but it helps me to improve my skills with minimal interruptions:
it's to make all of your needs static (unchanging): type "TestingCheatsEnabled True" in the cheat box, then hold shift and click on the mailbox, and you will come up with a menu of VERY helpful options to give the game a little...booster...so click "make all happy" then right after that, click "make needs static" to make sure that your happiness does not go away. pretty straightforward.
you can also use this cheat by holding down shift and clicking the ground to teleport to a place, or holding it down and clicking people to do different things to them, including delete them. you can have fun, and try clicking just about anything, and see what happens!
there are none. but to speed up the process ctrl+shift+c type in "testingcheatsenabled true" then shift+click the mailbox select "make everyone happy" then shift+click mailbox again and select "make moods static", your sims wont have to eat, sleep, basically anything. Then you have your sim do a skill raising action (like play guitar), speed up the time all the way and watch your sims skills raise. They wont stop until you have them stop or till theyre done (like reading a book) so it could go on for days. It'll be easier if the sim was an adult and has no job.
On sims 2, while in neighbourhood view, to enable the master cheat, press [ctrl]+[shift]+[c] and enter following code, boolprop testing cheatsenabled true
to the best of my knowledge this also works on Sims 3, code is slightly different, just remove "boolprop"
Not sure if it works but with the cheat above enabled, click on the skill bar and drag to increase/decrease
