ok some of these people havnt heard of the new 80gb announced at e3 two days ago so they think you're talking about the 80gb bundle, but in my opinion just buy the core system honestly.. you probly have a ps2... if not then you're not gonna miss out on anything worth the extra money for the backwards compatability... and msg4 is only $60 and less on ebay, but now that it will come with a dualshock 3 controller its what im getting. since everything is wireless on the ps3 anyway you wont be using up all those extra usb ports, and the memory card ports are useless anyway because you can always use the computer and stream them to the ps3 or use a usb cable...
You should just get the bundle it is cheaper. You better hurry though cause if you want to play ps2 games you wont by September they will release an 80gb core for $399 that has the same functions as a 40gb so in other words no backwards compatibility. And i would be guessing they would swap it with the current 80gb bundled with mgs.

the new 80gb core system for sure!!!
MGS4 is a great game fun and challenging but if u dont have a PS3 u should go with the 80 GB core set
If you want PS2 backwards compatibility, get the current 80 GB PS3 MGS4 bundle seeing as to how the core 80 GB won't support PS2 games.
I would get the MGS4 Bundle personally, since it looks like you can get a good system and a great start up game to go with the PS3.
I only wish there was MGS4 version on the 360

Well i bought the 40 gb. i would reccomend you doing the same 80 gb are a waste of money and memory 40 gb is enough. then just buy the game seperate
you should get the bundle cause i heard u can play ps2 game on it but u should find out first before getting it
