I am getting really irritated with this whole contact thing. My husbands script for glass expired 4years ago and it hasn't changed in 22years and I found a site cuz he needed script sunglasses and they accepted my input for the visual correction without a script. I was like about time. Insurance pays for glasses every 2years. For an exam that is. So that is no big deal. But the contacts is ridiculous. They pay once every 2years as well but the script expires in 1year. Which means to get contacts you better buy enough to last you through another year. Well my husband changes is usage of his contacts and doesn't communicate when he is low so of course we always run out and then he procrastinates on the exam and then in the end I have to pay out of pocket for exam and new lenses. I am getting tired of being milked to death from my pocket. So I was trying to find a site that would take an expired script. It expired in Feb of 09 and so it is about 2 months old. I am ordering enough from the site to last til next year hopefully but as I said he changes his usage and doesn't communicate when running out. He does this with all his stuff. Cleaner, shampoo, deodorant. I have to go through his toilet items to find out what he is low on cuz his communication sucks. Then he complains when I have to spend money on his stuff like for contact exam. Go figure that one. Anyway...they need to change the whole script thing with contacts. Either make the script last 2yrs or do an exam that insurance pays for every year. Cuz it seems to me that the Docs. have a little stab you going on with this whole thing. The FDA made this stupid contact law and now the Docs use that to milk ya. It is such a big scam.

Stick this in the medical section - this is nothing to do with photography.
After attempting to find a question in all of that, I realized - this is indeed, the photography section. So, your guess is as good as mine. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure there are likely NOT many websites that will sell you legit contact lenses with no prescription. That's sort of the reason they make you get an eye exam. The standards for contact lenses are much tighter than prescription eyeglasses because the optomitrist has to take greater care in examining the health of your eyes - being that you wear a plastic lens stuck to your eyeball. Life is hard, I know. But you'll get over it - that, or just get laser eye surgury. Problem solved.
No, unless you took them all at the same time. Hopefully you are following the instructions on the bottle. I've heard that meds, especially caplets don't lose their effectiveness that fast. Just don't keep them around for years after the expired date.
this is the photography section..................
