By the way you are stating it you don't seem to have a lot in common. A split maybe for the best.

But before you do this talk with him and tell him your true feelings, is he a good provider, over worked and tired and would like to just relax on his days off. Get him to commit to at least a once a week outing. Be it a movie, party, or just going for a long walk and stopping for a hot dog in the park or burger somewhere. Just some form of outing. It will be good for you both. It may just be he needs to be drawn out of sitting around and then he'll get more active.
