Basically a scam. If there really were thousands of people "working at home", there would be nobody actually going to work - buses and subway trains would be almost empty during rush hour.
Companies genuinely hiring "work at home" operatives would advertise on their own company website rather than on some obscure unknown website
Anyone I know who works online was already an employee of that company working in their office for years until a change of circumstance (pregnancy, children, illness/disability, downsizing) allowed them to start working from home
There wouldn't be over 10% unemployment and people losing their homes every day and declaring bankruptcy if there were all sorts of online jobs that could earn you a living
