Drink water before, gatorade during, and water after. Gatorade is good, but it is too sugary, so I suggest cutting it with water, dilute it to 1/2 gatorade, 1/2 water and drink it that way. It restores your electrolytes, helping prevent muscle cramps, heat exhaustion, and other injuries as well as coordination.

It's better to drink electrolyte enhanced water from the health food store after a workout. It's the same price or cheaper as Gatorade too.

I actually asked my doctor that today, drink water mainly a bottle or 2, and then 1/2 bottle of Gatorade.

depending on the sport if you doing sports that in vole big bursts of energy gatorade could because useful but overall water is allot better for you
