Im planning on auditioning for the part of Jimmy Smith in my school's production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie"?
What kind of song should I be singing for this audition? I am planning on doing the song "Santa Fe" from Newsies because it is a good tenor song with a lot of different elements in it (i.e. sadness, hope, anger). If that is indeed a good song for me to try for Jimmy with, then what part of the song should I sing for my audition? We have 32-40ish measures to sing for the auditions.
