No. The only way you get banned for glitching is if a microsoft or infinity ward employee sees you doing it. You can also get banned if people file complaints against you. So, if it is just you and a friend or group of friends, you are safe.
Don't confuse "glitches" with "easter eggs". Infinity Ward created several elevator "easter eggs" in MW2 that were meant to be used. If you know what they are, congrats. I know of one elevator on Highrise that was created simply for the enjoyment of online players (the one where you can get onto the roofs of the buildings). Trust me, I've looked it up and have documented proof that Infinity Ward purposefully did it.

Any glitching in MW2 can get you banned. Microsoft has been cracking down a lot lately.
no i dont even think they can ban you for doing it in a public match, but it would take way to long to do in a public match
