Halal is very evil compared to modern methods but as to your question, oxygen isn't halal. You can't claim something is Halal when their isn't any concrete proof or evidence for an existence of a god be he Jehovah, Yahwey, Allah etc. The simple thing is choice, people should have a choice and not have things forced upon them. That goes for Christians, Jews, Muslim's, Sikh's, Hindi's etc alike. If something isn't native to a culture, opposition is usually formed against it.
Im not into any political group but l boycott halal and think it should it should be banned. Watch halal slaughter on YT and see for yourself how disgusting it is.
I don't condone EDL and their bunch of really questionable "morals" but I too would rather not eat halal meat for personal reasons. I do acknowledge that others do for religious and moral reasons, and that is their choice, just as it is mine not to.

The ritual slaughter of animals is cruel and barbaric so anybody with any moral fibre should boycott halal meat. Thank goodness I am a vegetarian.
