I really want to be a physio but I have taken the wrong options for GCSE. I think physios need triple science but I'm doing double and pe but my pe department at school isn't great. However I am an acrobatic gymnast and I train 6 days a week and that's around 20 hours a week. So I am very familiar with different parts of the body and what to look out for injury and pain as a lot of gymnasts suffer from injuries and go to a physio. I am predicted A and A* in all my subjects so do you think I will be able to make it as a physiotherapist?

What you learn about the body as a gymnast and what you learn in PT school are quite different. Having an athletic background might help in certain ways, but it can also hinder you as you will enter school with a lot of preconceived ideas, some of which will not be supported by science or evidence. I can not help you with your educational requirements as I am not very familiar with your system there, but you must have appropriate prerequisites for entry into any program. I am sure that you can be successful with appropriate planning and hard work.
I think it's your choice to be a physiotherapist because since you're an acrobatic gymnast and you're familiar with the human body and so it's your choice
