I used to have really low self-esteem so to counteract that I've been working out all the time, improving my skin/hair/makeup/style, appearing really confident to others, etc...and I think it's helped me but at the same time I feel like I'm almost developing OCD from it...I change my outfit 5x before I'm completely satisfied, I check mirrors very often and if I see something I don't like, must fix it or be bothered by it until I do, and I find myself thinking about me and my needs more than anything else...this has probably been going on about 8 months, but more so in the past 3-4 months. So is this actually a problem or not a big deal? Btw, I am fairly happy living like this, but at the same time a bit confused if it's 'right' or not. Websites on the topic would be awesome...

The fact that you're even asking this proves that you aren't completely obsessed. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look good, as long as it isn't affecting your life. Feel free to ponder about what to wear for as long as you like, but don't be arrogant to others about it. Don't start commenting about other people and what they should change or why they don't look good. Keep it to yourself. You could try to be more casual by wearing sweats and stuff at home, it may transfer a little to your out and about style.
That sounds a bit high maintenance. You're becoming a bit of a perfectionist with the way you look. As long as you're happy, it's all okay.
