I need to completly restore my laptop to its orginal state as if i just bought it help plz?
ive got trojans and all sorts and ive tried everything to get rid, software and system restore but it wont work, iz there any way i can wipe it completly and go from there, i cannot access the internet on the laptop and the desktop is pretty much unresponsive, i need a step by step guide ov how to restore my laptop to its original state, there is nothing of any vaule on it so theres no need to back up files etc help me plz!!! plz leave contact details (email, bebo,facebook) so i can speak to u if i have any problems thanks!!!

In your case you will have to re-install windows - there is 99% that the infection will reside in your restore points and registry etc.Re-installing Windows will wipe the beast out of your system completely
As mrwise has said the virus will now be in your restore points, have you tried running in safe mode (no networking) and running a full system scan with your antivirus software?
if not give it a go and see what happens, failing that, start up windows in dos mode and type in format c: follow the on screen instructions and your away. You can do this a number of different ways btw!

Boot your system from the Recovery CD set that came with it and follow the directions. If you don't have the CD's look really quickly as the machines start for a Restore or Recovery feature. You'll have to press example: f12 to begin recovery
If you have pre-installed windows search for 'sysprep' Also if your computer dose have pre-installed windows you can create your own recovery CD
insert your boot disk and click fix my computer or reinstall windows
