I had a kidney tumor removed oct 31.. There is alot of swelling around the staples.?

I am in pain constantly. I was still in alot of pain when i left the hospital. I was taking 2 percocet every 6 hours and after 3 they wore off. I called the Dr week after surgery he said soreness is normal (not soreness i can deal with that but stabbing, burning pain. Pain going down my hip when i try to stand normal) From my stomach around my back past the staples. I have about a 10 inch incision from front to back. It is swollen in my stomach but i notice it most around the staples cause the pressure feels like the staples are going to pop out and some staples are loose.. If i bend over for even a minute the pain gets excruciating and the pressure worse. Monday he switched me to vicodin. It helps more but still alot of pain.

At times my pain level is a 10. I am using a heating pad to help with the back pain and it does help some. I don't sleep much as im up every 2 hours peeing. The kidney starts hurting an i know i have to go. It has been 11 days and when the pain gets worse i cant get up without help. It stretches and pulls too much. I did it a few times by myself (getting out of bed, on the toilet, in the chair) and the progress i was making on pain relief seemed to go away.It is Pretty much from my breast to my belly button down to my hips and around to the middle of the back.

Im not sure if the swelling is normal. I told the dr i had alot of pressure and the staples was red around it an he said that was normal too. I go in a week to get the staples out. Im just so tired of the pain and i don't know if i am progressing like i am suppose to.

I also had a bowel movement friday after surgery and was in very excruciating pain. My stomach is also numb. Even very loose underwear puts pressure on it making it hurt even though it is numb
