I like this guy at work,anyay,i wrote down my phone number and name and gave it to my guyfriend to give him,i assumed this guy liked me as he always said hello and stared at me and smiled,but that was yesterday and he hasnt called or anything,he told my guyfriend he'd call,is he playing it cool?

Probably. Don't get obsessive. You made a bold move which most girls wouldn't even do so be proud for taking such a step. You've done all you can do, so don't dwell on it. Go about your days as if nothing happened.
Also, it's usually not a good idea to get involved with someone you worked with. IF things go bad, they can make things tense at work and you don't want that.
