I'm a girl and I want to the trim my hair. However, i know I won't be going to the salon, because my mother said that I have no spilt ends, ( I am a natural), only relaxed people do. I know this isn't true. However, she allows me to buy the needed stuff to trim my hair. So I was wondering.

1. Is she right?? If I'm a natural, I don't have split damaged ends?

2. I can't go to the salon, so what do I buy to do it at home? (,I know hair scissors)

3. Since I'm a beginner and young, should I trim my hair or leave it???
