Hi, I'm working with a Physics professor this summer and he asked me to find pairs of tensors that contract. I was wondering if this example does:
1. A_(i)A^(j)B^(iqm)B_(jqm)
Does it contract to form the resulting tensor C_(qm)C^(qm) ?
Update:Thanks, Richard! Do you think you could show me how I would use the Levi Civita symbol with this contraction?

No -- because you must sum over the q and m indices as well so the whole expression contracts to a scalar:
A_(i)A^(j)B^(iqm)B_(jqm) =
A_(i)A^(j) C^i_j = D
