It depends a lot on what you are using the bike for. Most mx riders racing don't use the clutch that much after the start although they use it for different things like keeping the front wheel up or to seat bounce. Many top riders who use the clutch this way do need clutch replacement a lot. If you are not racing it certainly won't hurt anything for you to use the clutch and even mx riders need to learn skills like braking in corners without pulling in the clutch as this helps the braking and prevents the bike sliding out. Learning to race a 2 stroke with little clutch use is a bit harder than a 4 stroke as the 4 stroke has natural engine braking. Unless you are racing at a higher level not something to really worry about. Perhaps add a bit more information about what type of riding you are doing and what 2 stroke.
when you are starting off you have to move it out slowly and when braking you pull it in so it doesn't shut off the bike (unless you want it to). you should also use it when you shift because it is better for the engine. hope this helped.

The stroke has nothing to do with it.
You use the clutch to stop and start, while the bike is moving you can shift without it.

this is a hard one to answer without knowledge of whether you are on a two stroke or four stroke...more info on bike please!
