I know you need battle points but when the choice of moves comes up it doesn't have ice punch as a selection. I know its the correct move tutor, i know furret can learn that move, but it doesn't come up! anyone who knows how to get that as an option could you please help me? any help much appreciated!

the move tutor can only teach ur pokemon moves it has aready learnand my giude book says that he can not learn that move by lv up try to use it as a tm
You should stick near level 50, and buy full restore, revive, etc, or battle items if you like it. Most of the elite fours pokemon are above 40+ The lowest are 40, while the strongest are 50 (Lance's Dragonite) About your legend. It might be overpowered vs the some of the elite 4. However, you already got you're Pidgeot. So your legend is a waste of space. I would consider using a Dark/Fight/Grass or something else, so you have only 1 type of pokemon each, so you are not at an disadvantage. It's important to switch between pokemon in a battle, if you have a proper type for the next upcoming battle.
