What is your QUESTION?
Maybe the first indicator that they want you to work faster is in the name of the company, like it's JIFFY Lube or Oil EXPRESS. You know, someplace to get an oil change done FAST. Personally I prefer my mechanic who takes his time, finds things wrong with my car and gives me the time to make up my mind if I want him to fix it for me or let me know if it's something I can do myself.
Next, most employers aren't as generous with giving you a week to figure it out. Screwing up an oil change can be expensive and dangerous and your boss was probably scared to put another customer's life in your hands. You're lucky you were hired with no experience and you blew it. I learned how to do this stuff in high school Auto Mechanics class and still do some basic maintenance on my car.
Last, you were lucky that getting a job at the QuickyLube doesn't require spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalizing the first letter of the first word of each sentence OR experience. But you know what does? Filling out job applications and unemployment forms (which you won't win because they want you to be employed for at least 30 days before they'll give you state benefits).
Here's a lot of two-word advice for you; Food Service. Prep Cook. Dish Washer. Delivery driver. Bus Boy. Night School.
When you were hired, it was not a long term commitment from either of you. You were given a chance to attempt to do the job, but apparently your talents and abilities did not match what the company needed.
You have no right to a job, Your employer can let you go at any time.
You may want to look for a different type job seeing as most fast lube employees already have some automotive knowledge before they start working
Lube tech is an easy job
If you were still slow after a weeks orientation there is every reason to believe you would still be sloiw in a month or even a year
Bummer.
they said i am not faster of what they expected me to go faster. i mean how fast they are expecting me to go faster
Do you sometimes hear voices in your head?
So what's your question?
Sorry, be faster next time....
After a week, they can tell if you are getting it or not...
That is not a question.
