Does having a lot of sources on my ipod touch reduce the amount of memory for apps?
I installed an app that gave over 100 sources for apps but i only installed a few and i already ran out of memory. I know that there is only 300 mb for apps but most of mine are like 100kb why is it full already

All of the pre-2.0 firmware (ie: 1.1.5 and older) had the 300MB limit on applications. If you upgrade to 2.1 and jail break it that won't be an issue any longer.
The applications themselves are not the only thing taking up size, but any data those applications create such as cache, log files, downloaded images and so forth.
This was a tutorial I came accross that can possible fix the problem on the old 1.* firmware by moving some applications over into the second partition.

PS: If you do upgrade to 2.* use PwnageTool or QuickPwn to jailbreak it, also use the Cydia installer, not Installer (as it has become obsolete in 2.0).
