Does H & R have to have last years' records to file this year?

My records from last years tax returns are in storage in another city. Can H & R Block do my taxes this year without last years' records, or do I absolutely have to get them?

You should be able to file with out last years info and if you cant you can call the IRS and get the information you needed from last year.

If you filed with H&R last year, they have it available for you. I have used them for 4 years now and at the end of your return, you can request a comparison from last year from what you made and how much taxes were taken out. You can also request the printout like you received last year, with just the Copy image on it.

Nicky, Nicky, Nicky! Why would you use those guys to do your taxes in the first place! Do you really need to get a loan that fast and lose money and pay their exorbitant fees? You can go see the nice people at your local IRS office and they'll give you everything you need. They will even help you complete them if you ask!
