Just a hypothetical question me and my parents were discussing..If I had to be rushed to the hospital on an ambulance and my dad or mom came on the ambulance ride with me unconscious or something, would we get charged extra on the medical bills for say, an extra ambulance ride passenger or something of the sort? Just wondering..

Absolutely not, we never charge for a family member to ride with a patient, especially if the patient is a minor.
Ambulances are only allowed to charge by the loaded mile, and for any procedures done during treatment. (IVs, medications etc.) Some services charge a "break out" fee for a refused call.
No, it's $500 -$2100 depending on if it's a private or hospital ambulance company who takes you. The cost remains the same if it's just the patient or the patient and a family member. Oh and just so you know it's ONLY family members who can ride with, and only one.
I don't think so... most people ride behind in a car so they can go home because ambulance dosen't bring you home so ur parents ride behind while another parent in the amublance with u
No, they do not. One person can ride with the patient to the hospital up front with the driver.
