Can you upload a pic into that Blender.org program?
My brother recently got that Blender.org program and was wondering if he could upload a picture into it. If you have a link to a tutorial about that, that would be great! Thank you! ^_^
Depends on what you are trying to do. If you want to load it as a background, a texture, or use it as a UV map. Here's my step-by-step.
Load a new Blender file.
For background image:
Press F6 Texture button. Choose texture type "Image" and press load (if you hold control while you press it you can see image previews). Navigate to your picture file and load it. Then click on world buttons which is just 2 spaces to the right of texture. Click on the up and down arrows under texture and input and choose "Tex" if you haven't renamed it. Click on Blend and Paper options to the far left.
Then click on map to and choose Zen UP and Zen Down. And change the world colors to black (they probably appear blue) and you will have a background image.
The same applies to using a texture as a UV map and using it as normal texture.
For a better explanation go here. And download the pdf.
