Working on a farm would count as an activity. But everyone applying to Harvard has the highest grades in the hardest classes and very high test scores, and they only take about 6% of applicants. They determine who is the best by the way they spend their free time (after seeing they have all of the above). So no, you wouldn't have a chance, since you wouldn't be showing them anything about yourself that would make you stand out. They might take one person from Ireland the year you apply. Are you the top student in your country?
Working would be your only EC. It doesn't mean you won't get in, but it definitely hurts you A LOT! There are kids who play sports, instruments, work, volunteer, and are members of clubs, etc. You really have to make up for it with your GPA, SAT/ACT, and your essay.
sicne you really don't have the time for ECs, you should be find. you work, which takes up the EC time. if you put down that you work and study very hard, you have a good chance.
Absolutely not. You are not well-rounded enough. ONE ec is not even close. Sorry!
