I just got my first pair of real human hair extensions and wanted to know if it will hurt curling them, like make them coarse or slit? And if you have time can you give me some more info about human hair extensions.

And also when I curl and straighten them I use pantene heat protectant is that good heat protectant to use some people say it dries hair out and say it doesn't work?...Thank you for the answers.
