You might be able to try prozac. Your doctor should know what you can take with your Topamax. I have two children that take lamictal and a neice that also does and she take prozac as well. Lamictal is a anti convulsant medicine for seizures. They use it for mood stabilization because of bipolar disorder so I don't know if this would fall under your question.
Some anticonvulsants actually are used to treat bipolar disorder and in some cases, depression. The best thing for you to do is talk to your doctor. They may simply switch your anticonvulsant to one that has mood stabilizing properties as well. And they would know best what anti-depressant would be safest. You don't need to request a certain kind, they'll know what to give you so they don't interact.
