They're like my favorite fruit, and I'd like to know if I could eat grapes instead of some junk food...
Obviously it's better than chips or popcorn or whatever but if I'm trying to eat smart would grapes be okay?
I didn't know since grapes are sweet, so the natural sugars in them might not be so good at midnight?

It's fine....eating food late doesn't affect most people...only some people say that they get stomach aches or cant sleep, etc... but usually it wont have any effect on your sleep or health.
There's nothing wrong with popcorn, it's a wholegrain! Just ditch the butter and sugar. Grapes boost energy which probably isn't what you need at midnight.
Grapes should be fine to eat. It's a very good choice considering chips and stuff are not good for you. You might want to find out what they contain in them though. Then put it to your own judgment.
No matter the fruit/veggie, you're not going to gain weight eating it. It's when you juice it (remove the fiber) or dehydrate it (can stuff way more in your belly than normal) that it becomes fattening/bad for you. Eating grapes is perfectly fine. But you still have to brush your teeth afterwards.
BTW: freeze them, little popsicles!
Better than most snacks but not the best because of the amount of sugars in them. There are only a couple better options.... Raw veggies? Try some carrot sticks!
I would say that that as far as midnight snacks go, that grapes are pretty much perfect!
