I have put "Please dont read if squeemish" for a reason so if you are, please dont read on. Thank you
For the past few months my periods have seemed abnormal. I am on my period for the same length of time and everything but the texture is worrying me. For a couple of days each month i get like a brown, thick, tissue like substance which is not liquidy at all. I thought this could be clots which apparently are quite common but also heard about womb lining too and wondered if anybody else has experienced this???
The tissue like stuff is normally about the size of my little finger and although not firm, its does not liquify.
Please help if you have the same thing, i have spoke to the hospital as i am due a colposcopy next month and they said they would discuss it with me then, but im worried now
Thank girls to all that answer xx

Clots and womb lining are the same thing and that's what you have. Your period is made up of the lining of the womb which mostly liquifies to drip out easily. Sometimes there are little bits of clots that haven't completely liquified when they come out. It's completely normal, everyone get it! x
