I want to put an offer in on a house and do not have a buyer's agent. If I contact the listing agent to let him know I would like to put in an offer, will they provide me with a general form for putting an offer in on the house? Thank you for your help!
Update:In response to the post below...if I write in my offer to take the 3% comission that would be owed to a buyers agent and remove it from the price of the house (as I am not represented) then both parties would win. I don't understand why people say that the buyers agent is "free" when, in fact, the price of the house would be lowered by doing this.

The listing agent will gladly assist you in preparing an offer for the property. However, be assured that his advice will be to the benefit of the sellers of the property, since that is the party he represents. If you want YOUR interests represented, get yourself a buyer's agent. Buyer agent fees generally end up being paid by the sellers via a split commission arrangement. It's stupid to NOT get a buyer's agent.
