i'm wanting to know why trucks like toyota tacoma, nissan frontier, etc. all have such high resale values? i've seen trucks such as a 1998 toyota tacoma being sold for $10k. the truck usually has at least 100k - 120k miles on it and they're asking $10k for something like this? i just don't understand the logic behind this. i'm mainly looking at used car dealerships as well as private parties such as craigslist and the newspaper. am i supposed to low ball these people? is that what they're expecting or are most if not all of these sellers delusional?

The main reason for the higher resale value is call dependability and reliability of the truck. I have a customer who just purchased a Tacoma 2010 and is still driving and his truck a 1994 with over 400,000 miles on it and will drive it until 450,000 miles.
they are not here. you cant hardly give away an import truck here.
