Being a virgin bride is a great thing, but I was suggesting it because sex can equal kids. And no point in having to deal with adoption/ birth/ abortion if you know you don't want kids. So be super careful and be very up front about no kids. Make sure your future spouse is just as sure. You might also want to check and see what the legal age is in your state to have a tubal. If you have no kids, they are usually unwilling to do it until you reach a certain age.

If you feel as if you aren't ready for a child then adopt a dog or a cat. They are just like having a child. You have to feed them, clean them, bathe them, and pick up after them. But knowing you do not want to have kids, before you get serious with anyone, you need to make sure they're on the same page as you or it will cause major problems down the road. You might meet a great guy but if he wants kids and won't take no for an answer, you'll have to move on because you won't be getting what you want (no kids) and he won't get the kids he wants. I'm undecided about having kids myself and so is my boyfriend, so this works for us because I'm certainly not opposed to having them but I won't get upset if I don't...unless I don't have pets to love. NO absolutely not. that is a decision each couple makes for themselves, i've known several married couple who chose not to have children. its just not for some people and its great that you recognize it insted of having them anyway and hating being a parent and therefore being a bad one. i think alot more people should be like you! there are far too many unwanted, mistreated and abandoned children in the world if their parents had thought about it and recognized it before getting pregnant everyone would be better off.

NO you don't HAVE to have children to have a marriage, but you need to make sure that you marry someone who also doesn't want to have kids. Make sure this is talked out before you even get serious with someone.

No having kids is not part of getting married. It is not a requirement of marriage. Just make sure that whom ever u r dating that they know your feelings on having kids. Do not hide it from them and let them know once u r already married. That will just end your marriage.

I was very clear from the outset that I didn't want kids and I did find a wonderful man who felt the same way, and we are very happy with our quiet lives- we can go visit our nephews and nieces when ever we want, and escape when we are tired of them.

As long as your husband never wants kids too that is fine. But make sure you marry someone that has the same goals and interests you have.
