Yes, it seems like she is getting close to having her kittens! She does not want to go far from the door because she knows the house and you are her safe place. As cats near their birthing, they lose their appetite, and can be very drowsy at first. I would expect her to birth within 1 - 2 days from what you've said. Don't worry about her eating, just make sure she has a private, safe, comfortable spot to have her kittens. A cardboard box with some old towels in it is perfect. She may be very protective of the babies when they are born, so do not touch them for at least 3 days after they are born. You may need to change the towels in her box because of the birthing process, so just get another box with towels and put it beside her original box and she will move into the clean one and carry her babies over into it as well. Good luck and have fun with your kittens!
Maybe your cat would like you to join her outside. It sounds to me like your cat stays pretty close to you. when you're around, your cat sleeps nearby. when you send your cat outside, but you stay in, your cat stays by the door.
spend time with your cat; she's doing all she can to ask you to.
