Painters tape is the best option. If it is an outer corner that sticks out rather than in you can always put your tape down once it is perfectly straight, take a clear paint (Acrylic) and paint over the edge of the tape and unpainted wall to create a seal. Once the clear paint dries go back over it with with wall paint. Once you remove the tape you will a have a PERFECT line with no leakage under the tape. The clear simply seals the one edge of the tape to the wall and makes for a perfect edge.
yes, painter's tape, but make sure the color you are putting the tape on has dried for 3-4 days before you apply the tape. When you take the tape off, do it slowly and pull from close to the wall, not at the end of a long piece of tape or it will peel off the paint.
run some masking tape down one side of the wall, so when u paint the other side a different colour it wont go on the other colour, and u will have a nice straight line.
use thick tape (de-sticky-fy it first by taping it and taking it off of clothes with lint) and then paint it, or use newspaper or paper to border it so it doesnt get onto the other wall

Use this (Home Depot sells them for about $3 and they are the best thing ever invented). The trick is not to use too much paint on it.

Use blue painters tape.
I use white corner molding to trim it.
