Well it doesn't matter too much which undergraduate school you go to, as long as you take rigorous courses and do well in all of them and prove you are ready for medical school. But, if you want the names of some prestigious schools:
Undergraduate schools have places like John Hopkins, Harvard, Stanford, and even some of the UCs have good programs in biology, but for medical school itself there are a few more places like UCSF, which is one of the top in the nation along with the Ivy's, Stanford, and John Hopkins.
What about Harvard and Yale. There are so many colleges to become a doctor. It depends if you want to stay in your home state or go away. What ever makes you happy.
there is no one best, but you want to go to the best school you can. the better the reputation, the better chance you have of getting into medical school. prestige does matter as well as your grades.
