Hey :)! My dog belle (bichon friese) is nearly 5 now and has only got neutered last night, we were against it for a while but we decided to get it done. Now she's in her bed ( it's comfy and she loves it) nobody is annoying her , we are not going to walk her until tomorrow or afew days later. You know the usual after a dog has gotten neutered but I hate seine her so down. Is there anything I could do? Ps I don't mean annoying her and making her play games because I understand she might not want to do that, but is there any extra TLC needed , or a unique idea that works. ? Thanks everyone xx !! :D

SPAYED!!!
Bitches are SPAYED-dogs are CASTRATED!
Leave it alone to heal...it hasn't even gotten over the anesthesia yet...butt out! No movie magazines, flowers, get well cards.....
I had a dog once that was adopted out with extremely bad heart worms and she was in and out of the vet for a while (she survived <3). She would just lay there for days barely eating and I would lay beside her and hum to her and pet her (for hours ; ;). Perhaps just being there for him and loving on him is good enough. He might be uncomfortable (not in the bed, just... well, think about it lol) and no want to move a whole lot. If he's up to eating you can always bring him a treat and break it into pieces and feed it to him. This is one of those things that just take time.
Let's get this out of the way first; ""NEUTERED"" is NONE GENDER SPECIFIC. Male and female dogs can be neutered.
As to your dog; light exercise is fine. No jumping up or down off furniture and no running. There is no need for the dog to be absolutely bedridden.
She was neutered? Wow, talented vet. ;-)
Females are spayed, males are neutered.
Just let her dictate what to do. If she wants to sleep for a day or so, that's fine. If she wants to go for a,walk, she will let you know. If she wants to run around and act crazy, then you'll need to out a leash on her an calm her down. No craziness for a week or so.
