...when he used the word "proskynēsousin" at Rev 3:9:
Look! I will give those from the synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews, and yet they are not but are lying—look! I will make them come and do obeisance (proskynēsousin) before your feet and make them know I have loved you.

Update:@OPsaltis:
How do Trinitarians distinguish "proskyneo" directed to: Christians (up there)
to Jesus
to God?

Proskynisosin (προσκυνήσωσιν) means "to fall down toward", or prostrate, or even "kiss the hand toward". It is a bow that can be used in worship, but is not worship itself, but an act of reverence. Worship is latreia (as λατρεύειν in Acts 7:14 -- a wrong worship of the planetary bodies -- and λατρεύω in Acts 24:14).
Orthodox Christianity tries to be very careful with the usage. We reverence icons and the saints, but we worship God.
One must be very careful of creating one's own doctrine out of a particular reading. Translation is a very tricky business. But to do obeisance is NOT the same as worship.
...and what does that have to do with Trinitarians? Even Unitarians should worship God only, even if reverence of created things is done.
Edit: We do not need to distinguish; to fall down in reverence before someone is the same act whether it is before the Holy Trinity or saints. Worship is not the same as falling down before. We worship in the reception of the Eucharist, the true body and blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
Forgive me.
