Does anyone know where I can get some free sample plugins etc? What I'm looking for is sorta along the lines of...

There also another one that plays in an anime (Neon Genesis Evangelion - TV) in episode 4 of the anime, during the first train scene (exactly 4 mins into the epidsode) You can hear the song the main character is listening to on his SDAT or cassette player as everyone around him is boarding/leaving the train. and if not, what exactly is it I must do to achieve a similar sound? I'v messed with MIDI and samplers b4 but I never really move away much from the original sample's sound as I was working with them, maybe fine tune it a bit, but never make any drastic changes
